Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corp. (TMC) Wednesday said worldwide production in March fell 8.6 percent to 892,678 units.
Announces its production, domestic sales and export results, including those for subsidiaries Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. and Hino Motors, Ltd., for March, the automaker said production in Japan declined 15.6 percent to 384,539 units. Sales in Japan were 14.1 percent lower at 284,190.
Exports declined 11.9 percent to 167,879 units in the month. Production outside Japan was 2.4 percent lower at 508,139 units.
