Oil States International, Inc. (OIS) Wednesday reported first-quarter profit of $102.58 million, down from $135.47 million last year.

Net income attributable to the company declined to $102.19 million or $1.85 per share from $135.07 million or $2.43 per share last year.

On average, 14 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $1.94 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues totaled $1.07 billion, down from $1.10 billion last year. Analysts expected revenues of $1.11 billion.
