Lithuania's retail sales growth accelerated to 4.6 percent on a yearly basis in March, from 1.6 percent in February, Statistics Lithuania reported Friday. On a working-day adjusted basis, turnover was up 4.5 percent.
The turnover of enterprises trading in food products advanced 8.7 percent and those in non-food products gained 1 percent.
Compared to February, retail sales surged 14.1 percent in March. On a seasonally adjusted terms, sales increased by 1 percent.
