Synaptics Inc. (SYNA) reported third quarter adjusted EPS of $0.79 after the close Thursday, up from $0.51 a year ago. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.57.
Synaptics has gapped open dramatically higher Friday and is now up 5.89 at $44.43. The stock has leaped to a new high for the year.
