Earnings Watch For April 30 (AET, PFE, SIRI, ODP, DWA, HOT)

Diversified healthcare benefits company Aetna, Inc. (AET) is expected to report results for the first quarter. The Hartford, Connecticut-based health insurer is expected to post earnings of $1.39 per share, an increase from $1.34 per share a year ago, whereas quarterly revenues are anticipated to grow to $9.64 billion from last year's $8.86 billion. The shares closed Monday at $56.16. (52-wk H/L $57.54/$34.58)

Pfizer Inc. (PFE) is due to post its first quarter results. The pharmaceutical giant is expected to post earnings of $0.56 per share, lower than the year-ago quarter's $0.58 per share. Also, quarterly revenues are anticipated to decline to $14.00 billion from $14.88 billion in the prior-year quarter. PFE closed Monday at $30.43. (52-wk H/L $31.15/$21.40)

Satellite radio company SIRIUS XM Radio Inc. (SIRI) is scheduled to report first-quarter results. The company is expected to post earnings of $0.03 per share, up from the prior year's $0.02 per share. Also, the company is anticipated to generate revenues of $906.01 million, an increase from $804.72 million a year ago. The company's shares closed Monday's session at $3.07. (52-wk H/L $3.25/$1.78)

DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc. (DWA) is expected to report results for the first quarter. The Glendale, California-based company is expected to report a loss of $0.03 per share on revenues of $99.35 million. In the year-ago quarter, the company reported earnings of $0.11 per share on revenues of $136.08 million. The shares closed Monday at $19.26. (52-wk H/L $22.98/$15.90)

Office products retailer Office Depot, Inc. (ODP) is slated to report results for the first quarter. The earnings for the quarter are expected to be $0.05 per share, flat with last year. The Boca Raton, Florida-based company is projected to post revenues of $2.77 billion, down from $2.87 billion reported a year earlier. The stock closed Monday at $3.70. (52-wk H/L $6.10/$1.51)

Stamford, Connecticut-based Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. (HOT) will report its quarterly results. Earnings and revenue for the first quarter are expected to be $0.53 per share and $1.47 billion respectively. In the previous year, the company posted earnings of $0.63 per share on revenues of $1.72 billion. HOT closed Monday at $62.46. (52-wk H/L $64.06/$47.41)

Kulicke and Soffa Industries, Inc. (KLIC), Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Inc. (MSO), MGIC Investment Corp. (MTG), Moody's Corp. (MCO), Tenet Healthcare Corp. (THC), Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (AJG), Cray Inc. (CRAY), Extreme Networks Inc. (EXTR), Fiserv Inc. (FISV), Genworth Financial, Inc. (GNW), IAC/InterActiveCorp. (IACI) and Jamba Inc. (JMBA) are also scheduled to report their results.
