biopharmaceutical company Dynavax Technologies Corporation (DVAX) said it appointed Eddie Gray as chief executive officer and a member of its board, effective May 1, 2013.
The company noted that Gray would replace Dino Dina, who will remain a consultant to the Company for a transition period and plans to continue serving as a member of the board.
The Company also added that Tyler Martin, President, would leave the company on May 31, 2013 and plans to remain a consultant for a transition period.
Most recently, Gray served as the President of Pharmaceuticals Europe at GlaxoSmithKline plc since 2008 and as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Pharmaceuticals UK from 2001 through 2007.
In addition, Dynavax said it will meet with the US Food and Drug Administration in the first half of June regarding its Biologic License Application for HEPLISAV, an investigational adult hepatitis B vaccine.
