Jason Aldean has filed for divorce from his wife Jessica after 12 years of marriage, according to People magazine. The country star was caught red-handed with another woman at a Hollywood bar a few months ago.
Aldean has cited "irreconcilable differences" as his reason for filing the papers. The pair, who were high school sweethearts, have two kids together—Keeley, 10, and Kendyl, 5. They were married in 2001.
In October, the country star apologized for his behavior with American Idol contestant Brittany Kerr. Images leaked to the web showed Kerr and Aldean getting cozy in a Los Angeles night club.
"The truth is that I screwed up. I had too much to drink, let the party get out of hand and acted inappropriately at a bar," he wrote on his Facebook page afterwards.
