InterActive Corp. (IACI) Tuesday posted first-quarter net earnings attributable to IAC shareholders of $53.6 million or $0.61 per share, compared to $34.5 million or $0.38 per share last year.
Adjusted Net Income was $72.74 million or $0.83 per share, up from $48.11 million or $0.51 per share in the comparable quarter last year. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit of $0.69 per share. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Meanwhile, revenue increased to $742.25 million from $640.60 million in the prior year period, while analysts expected to see revenues of $757.29 million for the quarter.
Further, IAC said its Board has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.24 per share, payable on June 1, 2013 to holders of record on May 15, 2013.
