Cable giant Comcast Corp. (CMCSA: Quote) is expected to report results for the first quarter. The company is expected to earn $0.50 per share on revenues of $15.41 billion, while in the year-ago quarter, earnings and revenue were $0.45 per share and $14.88 billion respectively. The shares closed Tuesday at $41.36. (52-wk H/L $42.61/$28.09)

Drugstore chain CVS Caremark Corp. (CVS: Quote) is expected to report results for the first quarter before the markets open. The Woonsocket, Rhode Island-based company is expected to earn $0.79 per share, higher than the prior year's $0.65 per share. Also, the company is anticipated to generate revenues of $30.36 billion compared to $30.80 billion in the prior-year quarter. The stock closed Tuesday at $58.18. (52-wk H/L $58.50/$43.30)

New York-based Time Warner Inc. (TWX: Quote) is slated to report results for the first quarter. The media and entertainment giant is expected to report a profit of $0.74 per share compared to $0.67 per share last year. Quarterly revenues are anticipated to grow to $7.12 billion from $6.98 billion reported a year ago. The stock closed Tuesday at $59.78. (52-wk H/L $60.72/$33.62)

Mastercard Inc. (MA: Quote) is expected to post first-quarter results. The company is expected to earn $6.17 per share, up from $5.36 per share earned a year ago. Quarterly revenues estimated to grow to $1.93 billion from the prior year's $1.76 billion. The company's shares closed Tuesday's regular trading at $552.93. (52-wk H/L $552.93/$389.90)

Visa, Inc. (V: Quote) is scheduled to report second-quarter results. The company is expected to post earnings of $1.81 per share, higher than the year-ago quarter's $1.60 per share. Also, the company is anticipated to generate revenues of $2.85 billion compared to $2.58 billion in the prior-year quarter. The company's shares closed Tuesday's session at $168.46. (52-wk H/L $170.99/$111.94)

Media conglomerate Viacom, Inc. (VIAB: Quote) is scheduled to report second quarter results. The earnings for the quarter are expected to decline to $0.95 per share from $0.98 per share in the previous year. The New York-based company is anticipated to record revenues of $3.19 billion, a decline from last year's $3.33 billion. Shares of VIAB closed Tuesday's trade at $63.99. (52-wk H/L $66.89/$44.85)

Social networking giant Facebook, Inc. (FB: Quote) is slated to report first quarter results after the markets close. The Menlo Park, California-based company is expected to report a profit of $0.13 per share on revenues of $1.44 billion. The stock closed Tuesday at $27.77. (52-wk H/L $45.00/$17.55)

Las Vegas Sands Corp. (LVS: Quote) is expected to report first quarter results. The casinos operator is expected to report earnings of $0.67 per share compared to $0.70 per share a year ago. Also, the Nevada-based company is anticipated to generate revenues of $3.27 billion versus $2.76 billion in the prior-year quarter. The company's shares closed Tuesday's session at $56.25. (52-wk H/L $57.11/$34.72).

Chesapeake Energy Corp. (CHK: Quote), Clorox Co. (CLX: Quote), Coventry Health Care Inc. (CVH: Quote), Devon Energy Corp. (DVN: Quote), Humana Inc. (HUM: Quote), Hyatt Hotels Corp. (H: Quote), Allstate Corp. (ALL: Quote), Avis Budget Group, Inc. (CAR: Quote), CBS Corp. (CBS: Quote,CBS_A), Charles River Laboratories International Inc.(CRL: Quote), Expeditors International of Washington, Inc. (EXPD: Quote) and Seagate Technology PLC.
