The McGraw-Hill Companies (MHP), on Wednesday said its shareholders voted to change its name to McGraw Hill Financial.
The New York-based content and analytics services provider said the name McGraw Hill Financial 'closely' identified the company to its credit ratings, benchmarks and the analytics it provided to global capital and commodity markets.
Further, the company in a statement said its symbol on the New York Stock Exchange will change to 'MHFI,' effective May 14, 2013.
