US Airways Group Inc. (LCC) said its consolidated traffic in April 2013 rose 4.4% year-over-year, on a consolidated capacity increase of 3.1%.
The airline's April consolidated traffic was up 4.4% to 5.48 billion revenue passenger miles or RPMs from 5.24 billion RPMs last year. Monthly consolidated capacity was 6.55 billion available seat miles or ASMs, up 3.1% from 6.35 billion ASMs in the prior-year period.
Consolidated load factor in April was 83.6%, up 1.1 points from 82.5% reported in April 2012.
