Arbor Realty Trust Inc. (ABR) Friday reported a rise in net profit for the quarter, with an improvement in net interest income.
For the quarter, the company reported net income attributable to shareholders of $6.64 million, up from $4.16 million last year. On a per share basis, earnings were $0.19 versus $0.17 last year.
Two analysts, on average, polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings per share of $0.19 for the quarter. Analyst estimates typically exclude one-time items.
The company further posted funds from operations or FFO of $8.3 million, or $0.24 per share, compared with FFO of $1.9 million, or $0.08 per share for the comparable period last year.
Net interest income for the quarter was $12.34 million, up from $7.84 million last year. Total other revenue was $10.27 million compared with $9.05 million last year.
The firm also declared a dividend of $0.12 per share, payable on May 31 to shareholders of record on May 15.
