Kanye West posted a mysterious tweet today that read simply "June Eighteen." It is likely that the date will mark the release of his forthcoming album or a single from it.
The post, which is the only one on Ye's Twitter account, having erased all previous tweets, was quickly jumped on by the rapper's nearly 9.5 million followers. At present, the post garnered over 31,000 retweets and over 11,000 favorites.
A New York radio station recently reported from a Def Jam listening party for Kanye's upcoming sixth album, which DJ Paul Rosenberg said was a hit:
"Everyone at the label that listened to the album loved it. I've heard it's dark, but really good."
Others have speculated that the date may be the due date of Kim Kardashian's baby.
