After leaving the North American leg of Bon Jovi's current tour, Richie Sambora has announced that he will not join the band on the upcoming European and South African legs. BJ announced the news on their official website:
"Due to a personal matter, Richie Sambora will not be performing on the European and South African leg of the tour. All shows will go on as scheduled."
Last month, rumors hit that Sambora, no stranger to the occasional rehab stint, was partying too hard while on the road. The guitarist hit Twitter in late April to say he was doing fine:
"Hey everybody . . . Just want you all to know I'm all good . . . Thanks for all the positive vibes."
The South African leg begins on May 7, while the European leg begins May 14.
