Jason Aldean and Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars, House of Lies) will host the 12th annual CMT Music Awards live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on June 5 at 8 PM EST on CMT.
"I had so much fun hosting the CMT Awards last year, so I was thrilled to be invited back this year," Bell told the Hollywood Reporter. "I think Jason Aldean is one of country music's best and promises to be an excellent co-host."
"Hosting a show has always seemed fun, but it has never felt like the right time," adds Aldean. "I think now that I've checked a few big things off my bucket list recently, I want to keep pushing myself. I'm excited that I'll have Kristen to lean on, too . . . She and I have spent a little time together, and she always cracks me up."
Nominations, performers and presenters have yet to be announced for the honors program.
