Death Cab for Cutie are among the acts taking the stage at the 42nd annual Bumbershoot Festival, which goes down at the Seattle Center in Washington from August 31 to September 2. The group will play their 2003 release, Transatlanticism, in its entirety at the venue.
Other acts announced for the line-up include Baroness, Alt-J, the Breeders, Crystal Castles, the Joy Formidable, Ra Ra Riot, Matt Pond, Kendrick Lamar, BASSNECTAR, and former Hüsker Dü singer Bob Mould.
The fest, featuring over 100 acts in all, typically draws a crowd of 100,000 or so.
Tickets for the fest come in three packages: a standard three-day pass ($120 access to all music stages); a gold three-day pass ($325, VIP access and reserved main stage seating); and a platinum three-day pass ($500, the gold package plus access to the VIP music lounge).
