Austria's Wholesale Prices Fall For Second Month

Austria's wholesale prices declined for a second consecutive month in April, the latest figures from Statistics Austria showed Tuesday.

The price index fell 1.6 percent year-on-year in April following a 1.3 percent drop in March and a 1.2 percent increase in February.

Wholesale prices fell 0.4 percent in April from a month earlier. This comes after a 1.1 percent month-on-month decline in prices in March.
