The-Dream has enlisted the help of both Beyoncé and 2 Chainz for the song "Turnt," set to appear on his upcoming album IV Play, due out May 28.
Originally, Dream was to collaborate with Queen B on a song entitled "Fi (Fire)," but Dream was apparently unable to clear the Culture Club sample used in the cut. He then wrote the track "Turnt" and even flew out to Europe to get Bey's vocals.
"There was a clearance issue with the sample, so we're gonna move her from one record to another that was just created," he told Rap-Up.com.
In addition to Beyoncé and 2 Chainz, IV Play also features Jay-Z ("High Art"), Kelly Rowland ("Where Have You Been"), Mary J. Blige ("Divine"), and Big Sean and Pusha T ("P*ssy!").
