Miley Cyrus hit the red carpet for the 2013 Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on Monday. She wowed the cameras with spiked hair, rouged lips and a glittery net gown by Marc Jacobs.
The theme of the evening was "punk," which Cyrus happily embraced:
"It's so perfect for tonight," Cyrus told Vogue.com. "I'm feeling so good and so punk . . . We love nights like this where things are just perfect and you just know what's right."
Other celebs that showed up included Nicki Minaj, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Solange, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez, Rita Ora, Madonna, Miguel, Eve, Frank Ocean, Pharrell, Rooney Mara, Anne Hathaway, Sarah Jessica Parker and Katie Holmes.
The gala raised money for the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
