URS Corp. (URS) reported net income attributable to the company for the first quarter of $71.9 million or $0.96 per share, compared to $79.7 million or $1.07 per share for the year-ago quarter.
Revenues for the fourth quarter rose to $2.80 billion from $2.36 billion a year ago.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $1.12 per share on revenue of $2.92 billion for the first quarter.
On May 3, 2013, the company declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.21 per common share for the second quarter of 2013. The dividend will be paid on July 5, 2013 to stockholders of record as of June 14, 2013.
Looking forward to fiscal 2013, the company forecast revenues of $11.8 billion to $12.2 billion and earnings of $4.25 to $4.75 per share. Analysts currently expect the company to earn $4.46 per share on revenue of $11.93 billion for the fiscal year 2013.
