Consumer prices in Switzerland continued to fall in April, the latest data from the Federal Statistical Office showed Wednesday.
The consumer price index fell 0.6 percent year-on-year in April, faster than the expected 0.5 percent slump. This compares with a 0.6 percent fall in March and a 1 percent drop in April 2012.
On a monthly basis, the CPI remained unchanged in April compared with forecast of 0.1 percent increase.
