Mood Media Corporation (MM.TO,MM.L) a provider of in-store consumer experiences, Wednesday said it has entered into a definitive agreement to sell a substantial majority of the retail point-of-purchase assets of its subsidiaries, Mood Media Entertainment Ltd. and Mood Entertainment Inc., to Somerset Group, Ltd. The transaction which is expected to close in the second quarter of 2013, does not include certain residual activities of Mood Entertainment, which are expected to be exited following the closing.
Somerset Group is a subsidiary of Allegro Corporation, dba Allegro Media Group, Allegro Corporation is an independent media company in North America with a catalog of music and video titles across a range of genres.
Mood Entertainment is a producer and distributor of specialty music and DVDs sold to retailers and distributors through interactive displays throughout the United States and Canada.
