International Airlines Group (IAG.L) reported that its traffic in April 2013 decreased 5.6% from April 2012, on a capacity decrease of 2.9%.
The Group's traffic, or revenue passenger kilometres (RPK), declined 5.6 percent in April to 13.80 billion RPK from 14.62 billion RPK in the same month a year ago.
Group capacity measured in Available Seat Kilometres (ASK) for April was down 2.9 percent at 17.43 billion ASK, compared to 17.95 billion ASK last year.
Passenger load factor in April decreased to 79.2 percent from 81.4 percent in the prior year.
The airline carried a total of 4.37 million passengers in April, down 2.5 percent from last year.
