Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (GMCR) Is Rising On Q2 Results

Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (GMCR) reported second quarter adjusted EPS of $0.93 after the bell Wednesday, which topped the consensus estimate of $0.73. The company expects to report third quarter adjusted EPS of $0.71 to $0.78 and between $3.05 and $3.15 for the full year 2013. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $0.65 and $2.84. The stock is now up 6.45 on 1.6 million shares.

Green Mountain Coffee Roasters rose above Wednesday's range going into the close and finished up by 0.92 at $59.48. The stock closed at the upper end of a 2-month range, at the highs of the year.
