McKesson Corp. (MCK) reported fourth quarter adjusted EPS of $1.45 after the close Tuesday. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $2.30. Full year 2014 adjusted EPS is expected to be between $7.90 and $8.20. The consensus estimate is for EPS of $8.06.
McKesson gapped up Wednesday and rose sharply during the first half hour of trade, before settling into a range. The stock ended the day higher by 7.48 at $116.11 on above average volume. McKesson climbed above a 2-month range and set a new high for the year.
