Vince Vaughn is reportedly in talks to join Will Ferrell in the upcoming Paramount comedy "Daddy's Home." The film centers on Ferrell's character, who vies for his step-children's affection after their biological father, Vaughn, re-enters their lives.

Ferrell is co-producing the pictures with his "Anchorman" partner Adam McKay for their Gary Sanchez studio. Etan Cohen has signed on to direct and he'll also co-write the script alongside Brian Burns, Adam McKay and Chris Henchy.

The announcement comes at a busy time for Vaughn, who recently also signed on to appear in New Regency's upcoming comedy "Business Trip." He may even begin production on "Daddy's Home" before starting "Business Trip," according to Variety.
