Gainers:

Biogen Idec Inc. (BIIB) is up 2 percent to $217.90 based on the news that the FDA has accepted its Biologics License Application for the marketing approval of ELOCTATE for the treatment of hemophilia A.

Theravance Inc. (THRX) is gaining 12 percent to $39.09. The company and Elan Corp. plc (ELN, ELA.L) announced that they have entered into a royalty participation agreement by which Elan will acquire a participation interest in potential future royalty payments related to four respiratory programs partnered with GlaxoSmithKline plc (GSK, GSK.L). Theravance will receive a $1.0 billion upfront payment upon closing.

Perion Network Ltd (PERI) is rising 15 percent to $14.52. The company's first quarter earnings and revenues surged from the previous year period. The company reaffirmed that it will achieve, and likely exceed, its 2013 financial outlook.

AsiaInfo-Linkage, Inc. (ASIA) is up 0.69 percent to $11.75. The company has agreed to be acquired by a private investor consortium led by CITIC Capital Partners for $12.00 per share in cash.

Tesla Motors, Inc. (TSLA) is up 4 percent to $79.95.

Decliners:

Endo Health Solutions Inc. (ENDP) is down over 4 percent to $33.35.

Trading halt:

Trading in shares of WSB Holdings, Inc. (WSB) was halted.

Trading in shares of CFS Bancorp Inc. (CITZ) was halted.
