VOXX Int'l Q4 Profit Down - Quick Facts

VOXX International Corp. (VOXX) reported that its fourth-quarter net income was $10.3 million or $0.43 per share, compared to net income of $10.9 million or $0.46 per share in the year ago quarter.

Two analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.19 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Net sales for the latest fourth quarter were $206.8 million, up 17.1% from $176.6 million in the comparable quarter last year, while two analysts expected revenues of $202.79 million for the quarter.

Angry protesters are planning more than 50 demonstrations on Friday at several Tim Hortons locations across Canada after some franchise owners in Ontario slashed workers' benefits as well as paid breaks in response to the Ontario government's minimum wage hike.
