Eastman Chemical Co. (EMN) Tuesday said the Board of Directors have appointed Mark Costa as its President, effective immediately. Costa will also take over as the company's Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1.
Costa succeeds James Rogers who will assume the role of Executive Chairman of the Board, post to the 2014 annual meeting.
Costa is currently the chief marketing officer and heads the company's additives & functional products and advanced materials segments. Costa has also served as Senior Vice President of the Polymers Group.
Prior to joining Eastman, Costa was a senior partner within Monitor Group's integrated North American and global client service networks.
