"Homeland" actress Morena Baccarin and her husband Austin Chick are expecting their first child together, People reports.
"You have to talk . . . a lot. Which guys love," Baccarin told the Daily Mail of how she makes her marriage work. "You have to keep checking in, being aware of what is happening in each other's worlds. Otherwise, you miss things, and then it becomes very hard to go back and connect the dots. But you also need to just know that the connection is there."
Baccarin stars on the Showtime series, which is currently in production for its third season, as Jessica Brody, the betrayed wife of retired Marine Nicholas Brody, portrayed by Damian Lewis. Baccarin also starred in "Firefly."
The couple has been married since November 2011.
