Catalina Denis ("Sleepless Night," "The Tunnel") has been tabbed for the female lead opposite Paul Walker in the upcoming film "Brick Mansions."
The film, a remake of the Luc Besson French action movie "District B13," sees Walker play an undercover cop who is tasked with going into a tenement named Brick Mansions in order to disarm a neutron bomb possessed by the community's drug warlord (RZA). Belle is a small-time dealer with whom he teams up.
Denis will play the role of David Belle's girlfriend who is kidnapped by the warlord.
Camille Delamarre is directing the movie, which is being produced by Luc Besson, Ryan Kavanaugh, Tucker Tooley and Christophe Lambert. "Brick Mansions," a EuropaCorp-Relativity Media production, is currently shooting on location in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
