SM Energy Co. (SM) said Wednesday that it plans to offer $400 million of senior unsecured notes due 2024 in a private placement to eligible purchasers.
The company said it plans to use the net proceeds from the offering to repay outstanding borrowings under its credit facility and for general corporate purposes.
