SunPower Corp. (SPWR) announced Wednesday that it expects to report second quarter adjusted EPS of $0.05 to $0.15 and between $0.60 and $0.80 for the full year 2013. The consensus estimates are for a loss of $0.02 and a profit of $0.64.
SunPower gapped open higher Wednesday, but traded in a range for the bulk of the session. The stock finished with a gain of 1.62 at $20.65, with volume at over a 4-month high. SunPower has been rising for nearly a month and set a new high for the year.
