The Japanese yen retraced early gains against other major currencies in late Asian deals on Thursday.
The yen is now trading at 102.34 against the greenback, 131.70 against the euro, 105.87 against the franc, 100.69 against the loonie and 155.81 against the pound, reversing from early highs of 101.96, 131.27, 105.59, 100.34 and a 2-day high of 155.35, respectively.
