Erasing early gains, the New Zealand dollar dropped against most major opponents ahead of European deals on Thursday.
The kiwi is trading at 0.8216 against the greenback and 1.5658 against the euro, retreating from an early 2-day high of 0.8271 and a 6-day high of 1.5576, respectively. On the downside, the kiwi may breach 0.81 against the greenback and 1.58 against the euro.
The kiwi that climbed to a 3-day high of 84.50 against the yen earlier fell shortly and is worth 84.07.
