Kelly Rowland has released "Dirty Laundry," the second single from her upcoming album, Talk a Good Game.
The song features Rowland opening up about her feelings after her career post-Destiny's Child didn't take off as quickly as former bandmate Beyoncé's:
"Bird in a cage, you would never know what I was dealing with / Went our separate ways, but I was happy she was killin' it / Bittersweet, she was up, I was down."
K-Row also addresses a past abusive relationship in a verse she confesses took her twelve times to record without crying:
"I was battered, he hit in a window like it was me until it shattered / He pulled me out, he said, 'Don't nobody love you but me, not your mama, not your daddy, and especially not B.'"
"Talk A Good Game" drops on June 18 and features collaborations with Wiz Khalifa, Michelle Williams, Beyoncé, and others.
