The National will headline Laneway Festival Detroit in Rochester Hills, Michigan, just outside of Detroit on September 14.
Laneway Festival Detroit, an American offshoot of the Aussie fest of the same name, will also feature performances from Frightened Rabbit, Sigur Ros, Deerhunter, Flume, My Brightest Diamond, Washed Out, Savages and Phosphorescent.
Icona Pop, the Dismemberment Plan, Youth Lagoon, and Solange will also take the stage of the inaugural event. Tickets for Laneway Festival Detroit go on sale Saturday.
According to the events official website, "two main stages and a third stage will be built on grounds; the Meadow Brook amphitheater stage will serve as the festival's fourth stage. Ample space will also be dedicated to showcasing local markets, culinary heroes and locally brewed specialties."
