Authorities in Chicago have arrested an ex-convict with a tattoo that says "Cop Killa" under his left eye after he made threatening phone calls to 911 where he threatened to shoot and kill police officers in the Ogden District.
The Chicago Tribune reports that Antonio A. Hammond, 27, made the threats between 9:25 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. on Monday and that officers were able to track him down via his cell phone, which he still had in his possession when he was arrested. Hammond is also accused of calling the district and telling authorities that a bomb had been placed in the parking lot of the police station.
Hammond has a prior criminal record including convictions for assault, violating an order of protection, mob action, criminal damage to property and criminal trespassing. He was put on probation back in January.
Hammond has been charged with making a false bomb threat and threatening public officials.
