"The Office," NBC's long-running workplace comedy, has finally come to an end. The series finale had expected surprises (Dwight's marriage to Angela), as well as some unexpected ones (Michael Scott's return to the show in the role of Dwight's best man).
"I feel like all my kids grew up and then they married each other," said Michael (Steve Carell) to the camera at the wedding reception. "It's every parent's dream!"
Other revelations during the episode included the retirement of Stanley and the firings of both Toby and Kevin. Andy went on to become a viral sensation after his reality show audition. Oscar, who once had an affair with Angela's ex-husband, a state senator, is now up for state senate himself.
Other "Office" alum to return for the final episode include Ryan (B.J. Novak) and Kelly (Mindy Kaling).
