Reversing direction, the Swiss franc slipped against other major currencies in the New York morning session on Friday.
The franc fell to 2-day lows of 1.4792 against the pound and 0.9730 against the greenback, off its early highs of 1.4691 and 0.9636, respectively.
The Swiss currency declined to a 9-day low of 105.29 against the yen from a high of 106.24 hit around 6:15 am ET. Against the euro, the franc slipped to 1.2472 from previous session's high of 1.2414.
