After purchasing a car at an auction, Valley View Towing, out of Athens County, Ohio, found a large bag of meth stashed inside the car. The owner of the tow company called the local sheriff's office to report the find, according to local news source 10TV.
Cops found 777 grams of the narcotic, estimating its street value to be well over $78,000. The drugs were found inside a bag of clothes in a 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe that he purchased at Salvage Direct in Columbus.
NBC 4I reports that the deputy at the scene initially guessed the white powdery substance was cocaine or heroine, but later tests proved that it was methamphetamine.
The sheriff's office is investigating the case, but currently do not know to whom the vehicle or the big bag of drugs belong.
