Kroenke Sports & Entertainment LLC said Friday it has closed the earlier announced acquisition of Outdoor Channel Holdings Inc. (OUTD) for $10.25 per share in cash, pursuant to which Outdoor Channel has become a wholly-owned unit of Kroenke.
The acquisition adds Outdoor Channel's array of outdoor programming to Kroenke's sports and multimedia portfolio. The combination will enable Outdoor Channel to expand in serving the growing consumer base for outdoor enthusiast programming and provide a strong platform for distributors, producers and advertisers.
