Casino operator Pinnacle Entertainment Inc. (PNK) said Friday that the Nevada Gaming Commission has unanimously approved its proposed acquisition of Ameristar Casinos (ASCA).
Completion of the deal remains subject to the expiration or termination of the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, customary closing conditions and receipt of required regulatory approvals.
In December, Pinnacle Entertainment agreed to acquire peer Ameristar Casinos for a total enterprise value of $2.8 billion, including debt of $1.9 billion.
