Estonia's producer price inflation slowed slightly to 4.6 percent in April from 5 percent in March, Statistics Estonia reported Monday.
The producer price index was more than average influenced by the increase in prices in the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply and in mining.
Prices in mining surged 27.7 percent from the previous year, and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply advanced 34.3 percent. The increase in manufacturing was just 1.1 percent.
On a monthly basis, overall producer prices eased 0.1 percent in April, reversing last month's 0.8 percent rise.
Export prices dipped 1 percent from a month ago, and decreased by 1.1 percent on a yearly basis. Likewise, import prices slipped 0.9 percent month-on-month, and decreased 2.4 percent annually.
