Three people were shot in their home in Sacramento County, California, including a 10-year-old girl over the weekend, reports local news source FOX 40. The girl was killed while a man and woman in their 40s are in the hospital and expected to survive.
All three of the victims were taken to the hospital on Saturday evening where the young girl died.
According to the Los Angeles Times, deputies believe that multiple rounds were fired from outside the house into the residence. They do not know whether there was one shooter or multiple shooters.
Bullets went through both the walls and windows of the home. Currently, the police have no motive or suspects. The sheriff's office is soliciting anonymous tips at http://www.sacsheriff.com/tips/
