Menzies Distribution or Menzies, the newspaper and magazine wholesaling division of John Menzies plc (MNZS.L), confirmed that it has renegotiated contract terms with Telegraph Media Group.
Accordingly, the new agreement which would see Menzies continue to distribute the Telegraph's portfolio of newspaper titles in the UK and Ireland, runs until October 2019 and secures around 75 million pounds of annual trade sales value.
David McIntosh, Managing Director said, "I am very pleased to have secured terms with the Telegraph. This renewal is a further step in underpinning our core business. With the Telegraph, News International and Marketforce now signed up to long term contracts running through to 2019 we can plan for the future knowing we have a strong core to build from."
