Authorities in Orlando, Florida are looking for a man who robbed a CVS Pharmacy after failing to rob a bank across the street on Monday.
The Orlando Sentinel reports that a man wearing sunglasses and a baseball cap walked into a Bank of America and handed a teller a note that implied he had a gun and demanded money. The teller alerted law officers and did not comply with the attempted robber's request. The robber left the scene and almost immediately went into the CVS Pharmacy across the street and robbed the cashier at gunpoint.
Local television station WFTV reports that the robber left the store with an unspecified amount of money and local police are not sure if he fled the scene on foot or by car.
No one was hurt in either incident. Authorities are asking the public for help in identifying the man and hope that surveillance footage from the robbery will lead to his arrest.
