Robin Finck, on-again/off-again guitarist for Nine Inch Nails, has rejoined the band, according to a statement issued by the band's fronter, Trent Reznor.

"The addition of Robin to the mix of players I've assembled makes this band incredibly powerful and versatile," Reznor said. "We are deep in the rehearsal process and it feels exciting and great to be back at this. Lots of information, surprises and sweat headed your way. Stay tuned!"

Finck's addition to the group comes a week after bass player Eric Avery announced that he would not be joining NIN for the band's upcoming tour.

NIN kicks off its summer dates on July 26 at Japan's Fuji Rock Festival. They'll make their way to Lollapalooza (August 2), the Reading Festival (August 25) and Voodoo Festival in New Orleans in November, among other dates.
