Radiohead fronter Thom Yorke has been tapped to score The U.K. Gold, an upcoming documentary on the subject of tax evasion in the country.
According to a press release, the film centers on "a vicar from a small parish in the London Borough of Hackney as he goes head-to-head with an ancient and mighty heavyweight, revealing its central status as the tax-haven nerve center of the world."
"To have this journey unfurling at the exact time that the eyes of the world were on this country, during the Jubilee and the Olympics, gives the story a powerful twist," added the presser.
The Daily Telegraph writes that Yorke will be joined by Massive Attack's Robert Del Naja on the ST. The film, directed by Mark Donne, premieres at London's Troxy Theatre on June 25.
The film's screening will be followed by a musical performance, although promoters are hush on the identity of the act.
