Densitron Technologies FY Profit Falls - Quick Facts

Densitron Technologies PLC (DSN.L) announced its preliminary unaudited results for the year ended 31 December 2012. Profit attributable to equity holders of the parent decreased to 248 thousand pounds from the previous year's 818 thousand pounds. Earnings per share was 0.36 pence, down from 1.18 pence in the prior year.

Profit before tax decreased to 520 thousand pounds from the previous year's 1.06 million pounds.

Revenue for the year declined to 22.61 million pounds from last year's 23.13 million pounds.

The company said it plans to propose a final dividend for the year of 0.1 pence per share, 0.4 pence per share in 2011, resulting in a total dividend payment for the year of 0.3 pence per share, compared to 0.6 pence per share in 2011. The company said its Board remains committed to paying dividends to its Shareholders but will do so taking into account the requirements of the Group to ensure continued and sustained growth.
